Grecian Magnesite Develops Mobile Mixer & Application System for On-Site Cold-Setting Tundish Mass Trials

Athens, Greece -- 30 September 2025 -- Grecian Magnesite S.A. is pleased to announce the completion of a new mobile mixer and application system designed for on-site trials of its innovative water-based cold-setting tundish mass range, GRECMAGN^® TUN CS.

The mobile system was engineered and assembled at Grecian Magnesite’s facilities by the company’s in-house engineering and workshop teams. Its purpose is to facilitate practical demonstrations and application tests at customer sites, starting with a major European steel plant next month.

The GRECMAGN^® TUN CS is a water-based, cold-setting dry tundish mass, already successfully applied in steelmaking operations such as HBIS Serbia. With the new mobile system, Grecian Magnesite will be able to:

• Conduct on-site product trials with greater efficiency.
• Demonstrate the performance advantages of GRECMAGN^® TUN CS directly to steel producers.
• Provide flexibility for future demonstrations at additional plants worldwide.

The in-house testing of the mobile system has been successfully concluded, and it is now ready to be shipped for customer trials.
