A busy August for our Grecian Magnesite community

Grecian Magnesite was delighted to stand by the local community of Chalkidiki this August, actively supporting two special events.

On August 31, 2025, the company was a main sponsor of the 9th Polygyros Run 2025, where more than 300 runners of all ages filled the town with energy, smiles, and athletic spirit. The event was organized by the Chalkidiki Health Runners Association, with the support of dozens of institutions, associations, and volunteers, and backed by the Regional Unit of Chalkidiki and the Municipality of Polygyros. It has now become one of the most important athletic gatherings of the region.

Just a few days earlier, on August 9, Grecian Magnesite hosted a unique full-moon concert at its former ship-loading facilities in Yerakini. With melodies and songs creating an atmosphere full of emotion, the open-air event, with free admission for the public, offered residents and visitors alike an unforgettable summer night by the sea.

Through these initiatives, Grecian Magnesite reaffirms its commitment to being close to the local community, supporting activities that promote sports, culture, and unity.
