Trained to save lives

We are happy to announce that the first round of the training program on Basic Life Support & Use of Automated External Defibrillator has been successfully completed. 

The training is an initiative of Grecian Magnesite’s Workers Union HEFESTOS, aimed to provide life-saving skills and empower every member of our community to act proactively in an emergency.

The first 5-hour seminar was held in the company’s staff canteen, with the collaboration of three specialized trainers from the humanitarian organization KIDS SAVE LIVES. The program continues on a specific schedule to gradually cover all the company's staff. 

All participants will receive a 3-year certification from the European Resuscitation Council [ERC].
